Learn About the Medical Laboratory Science Program at a Virtual Session

Medical Laboratory Science program information info sessions start March 13

You are invited to attend a Medical Laboratory Science program information session hosted by South Louisiana Community College.

These sessions are free and open to anyone interested in starting a Medical Laboratory Technician career, analyzing blood samples, detecting illnesses, and solving forensic cases.

Our graduates are eligible to take a national certification exam. They work in outpatient clinics, ambulatory care facilities, physician’s offices, urgent care clinics, and other specialty medical offices.

Upcoming information sessions are listed below. They will be held virtually via WebEx and can be joined from mobile phones, tablets, or computers. You will need to download WebEx. Select the date that you are available to attend, click on the link and register for the event.

Attending the information session will give you an opportunity to learn about the program and ask any questions that you may have. Students who are interested in being a student for the Fall 2024 class must attend the session to be considered a candidate for the selection process.

We hope to see you there!
