SoLAcc is celebrating 10 years of its Registered Nursing (RN) program, marking a decade of preparing highly skilled nurses and strengthening healthcare across Acadiana. Since its first graduating class in 2016, SoLAcc has produced 465 registered nursing graduates, with an additional 95 students completing the program in Spring 2026.

SoLAcc will host its Spring 2026 Graduation Ceremony, presented by Cox, Thursday, May 14, at 9:30 a.m. at the Cajundome. More than 600 graduates are set to cross the stage, proudly earning their associate degrees, technical diplomas, certificates of technical studies, or high school equivalency diplomas. These students from across Acadiana are prepared to enter the local workforce or transfer to regional universities to further their education.

Supreme Rice presents check to SoLAcc

South Louisiana Community College (SoLAcc) celebrated a $25,200 investment from Supreme Rice during a check presentation held April 29 at its Crowley Campus, marking a continued partnership to strengthen Acadiana’s workforce.

South Louisiana Community College is proud to announce the names of students who achieved Chancellor and Dean’s list status for the Fall 2025 semester. Each semester, SoLAcc recognizes students who have attained a 4.00 GPA for all coursework taken at one of SoLAcc's campuses and/or online during a 12-credit-hour or more semester.

SoLAcc proudly announces that Chancellor Dr. Vincent June has been named the 2026 recipient of the E. Joseph Savoie Chief Executive Leadership Award, presented by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District IV. He received the honor at the organization’s annual district conference.
