Divisions

BUSINESS, IT & Technical studies

The Business, Information Technology, and Technical Studies Division offers programs that are aligned with Acadiana’s business community and emerging IT sector. The division designs programs to meet the needs of students who plan to enter the job market after graduation and students who wants to transfer to a four-year university upon graduation.

With the workforce sector expanding each year, many career opportunities are open for students with education in technical trades and their support services. The programs offered through this Division provide the education necessary for a student to be successful in a variety of technical trade environments. Graduates supply the necessary demand for skilled employees throughout the state and nation.

The Business, IT and Technical Studies Division is committed to student success and quality education. This commitment is reflected in the dedication of our faculty. Your success matters to us, and we are here to help guide and direct you to achieve your educational and career goals.

I invite you to explore our program offerings and contact us for further guidance and information. Just think, in the near future, your name can be added to the list of SoLAcc’s many successful graduates. Please contact me if I can answer any questions and/or provide any assistance to you.
