With an array of events and resources, SLCC is dedicated to helping students excel in their professional journeys.

Upcoming Job Fairs:

These job fairs provide an excellent opportunity for students to connect with potential employers, explore career options, and gain valuable insights into their chosen fields.

Professional Workshop Day:

  • Career Services invites students to a Professional Workshop Day on Thursday, October 5th, from 10 am to 2 pm.
  • This event will feature representatives from One Acadiana, SLCC tutor services, Goodwill, and other valuable resources.
  • Attendees can receive assistance with crafting resumes and cover letters, take advantage of free headshots, enjoy complimentary snacks, and have the chance to win exciting giveaways.

Resume Workshops:

Career Services is also offering a series of Resume Workshops to help students create impressive resumes that stand out to potential employers. These workshops will be held in Ardoin Building Room 404 and virtually on the following dates:
