Wednesday, September 22:  Lafayette Campus, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Thursday, September 23:  New Iberia Campus, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Friday, September 24: Opelousas Campus, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Louisiana’s Shot For $100 is a rewards program offered by the Louisiana Department of Health’s Bring Back Louisiana campaign to increase awareness of COVID vaccine availability and provide reliable efficacy and safety information for college students. Today, 18-29-year-olds are among the least vaccinated age groups in Louisiana and are reporting the most cases statewide. With the spread of the highly transmissible Delta variant and its devastating impact on our communities including younger populations, more young people are choosing to go sleeves up, but we urgently need more.

It’s in everyone’s interest for our student population to get the COVID vaccine – to protect themselves, their families and friends, and their larger communities. Our best pathway out of this dangerous surge and pandemic is a one-two punch of masking and getting the vaccine.
