An information session is set for June 1 for students interested in SLCC's Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) program. This session is free and open to anyone interested in starting a career in healthcare.
MLS graduates have careers in hospitals, physician’s offices, veterinary clinics, industrial and crime labs. The Medical Laboratory Science program is a two-year program that begins each August. Students are accepted into the program through a selective admission process.
Graduates are eligible to sit for the National Certification exam for Medical Laboratory Technicians. The MLS program is Financial Aid eligible.
It is mandatory that prospective students attend one MLS information session. The sessions will be held virtually with WebEx and can be joined from mobile phones, tablets, or computers. You will need to download WebEx.
Attending the MLS information session will give you an opportunity to learn about the program and ask any questions that you may have. We hope to see you there!
