SLCC recently welcomed Dr. Carry DeAtley as its new Dean of Nursing and Allied Health.
Dr. DeAtley joins the college from the Coastal Bend College in Beeville, Texas. She brings a wealth of knowledge and over 20 years of higher education experience serving in previous leadership roles as Dean of Career and Technical Education, Dean of Academic Affairs, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Vice President of Instruction and Economic Development.
Dr. DeAtley began her career in higher education as a Medical Assistant Instructor, Medical Assistant Program Director, and has continued to teach as an adjunct instructor in Medical Assistant and Healthcare Administration.
