Attention graduation candidates: The deadline to order your cap and gown for the Fall 2019 commencement ceremony is Friday, October 25. The bookstore is unable to take individual orders, and graduates are reminded that the only way to guarantee availability of a specific size gown is to place your order on the cap and gown ordering website at herff.ly/slcc
The website offers basic cap, gown and tassel packages, as well as graduation announcements and diploma frames. The price for the basic cap, gown and tassel package is $50.00 plus tax. Website orders of cap and gown packages will be delivered to the bookstore around the last week of November. Orders of announcements and diploma frames will be delivered to your home address. The website lists 2 ceremonies – Division I and Division II. The Division I ceremony to be held Thursday, December 12 at 8:30 am includes graduates from Nursing, STEM and WorkReadyU. The Division II ceremony, to be held Thursday, December 12 at 1:00 pm includes graduates from Business, IT, Liberal Arts and Technical Studies.
