Describe your job in three words.
Communicating. Engaging. Supportive.

Where do you find joy in your work?
I find joy in helping people and letting people know they make a difference.

What would you tell someone about why your work at SLCC is valuable?
My work at SLCC is valuable because it is important to foster a positive culture where employees can do their best work through our Everyday Excellence program.

Tell us about your most important accomplishment to date.
My most important accomplishment is raising my five beautiful children!

If you could have any job in the world, what would you choose to do?
I would travel around as a motivational speaker.

What’s your educational background?
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations with a Minor in Business from USL.

What makes you laugh?
Other people laughing, especially Will Ferrell in the movie “Elf.”

Where are you from originally and how did living there shape your future?
I am originally from Lafayette and living here has given me a love for culture and hospitality. Everyone is always welcome in my home where we can really get to know each other beyond the surface over a cup of coffee.

What is something no one would ever guess about you?
I love playing board games. However, we must follow the rules of the game. I always refer back to the rules!

Describe your best day on any job you’ve ever had.
My best day on a job is getting to sit with employees and listen to how I can help them. I also enjoy planning employee appreciation events where employees are really shown how much they are valued.

What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about my love for Jesus! That love drives me to be a better person and love and accept all people.

Lastly, dog or cat and why?
Dog definitely. We have a miniature schnauzer, Brie. Anyone want to adopt my cat?
