Campus Bookstore FAQs
How will you purchase books for the Fall semester? When can I access my book voucher? We know students have questions and that's why we've put together helpful information from the bookstore.

The bookstore has reopened, however students are encouraged to visit the SLCC Campus Bookstore website at slcclafayetteshop.com for all of your back-to-school needs for the Fall 2020 semester.
The Office of Student Accounts has opened the first round of “book vouchers” for qualified students. Book vouchers are available for use on the bookstore website by choosing “financial aid” as your payment type and using your LoLA ID number as your account number.
The first round of book vouchers are open through the close of business on August 27, 2020. Items purchased with book vouchers during this period are returnable until the close of business on August 27, 2020. Refunds are applied to the original form of payment and a receipt/invoice is required for all returns.
Book vouchers are an authorized payment type for the purchase of all textbooks, supplies and backpacks. Also, the Office of Student Accounts has authorized the purchase of many technology items to assist with distance learning & online classes, including laptop & desktop computers, as well as printers and printing supplies.
Items that are not authorized for purchase with book vouchers include apparel, gifts, household items, exercise equipment, entertainment technology, convenience items and health & beauty items. Orders placed on the bookstore website are generally filled within one business day, however it is important to remember the following:
•Some items on the bookstore website are not carried in the Lafayette Campus Bookstore, but are filled by other locations. For this reason, if your order contains multiple items, it may be filled by another location.
•While UPS will deliver to a PO Box, they are not able to provide express (next day or 2 day service) to a PO Box. If you wish to have express delivery of your order, please provide a physical delivery address.
•Orders placed for express delivery are generally filled within one business day, however, the one or two-day delivery option guarantees delivery will occur within that timeframe following the processing of your order, not the placement of your order.
•Many digital items are fulfilled immediately upon receipt of your order. Please check your order confirmation email for instructions to access your digital items.
•Please make note of your order number, which will start with 1141, followed by a series of five zeros, then a five-digit number. For example - 11410000012345. If you have questions about your order, a bookstore associate will generally ask for the last five digits of your order number.
