The Wellness Collective delivers Collegiate Recovery and Wellness Services at SoLAcc. This program fosters a culture of holistic wellbeing, academic success, and support through innovative programming, trauma-informed practices, and measurable student outcomes.

Crisis Response Services

Mental Health & Recovery Support

  • Mental Health & Recovery Support
  • Monthly Oceans Healthcare group sessions at all campuses
  • Individual support consultations by appointment
  • Evidence-based recovery interventions and coping skills development
  • Professional-led recovery support groups

Peer Support & Community Building

  • AA-style meetings through NAMI of Acadiana, Victory, and Longbranch Recovery
  • Monthly recovery meetings and sober social events
  • Peer support networks and community connection activities

Wellness Education

  • Monthly Lunch and Learn series 
  • Recovery and resilience workshops
  • Semester resource fairs and beginning-of-semester orientations
  • Stress management and life skills sessions
