Courses in the matrix have been evaluated by appropriate faculty at the respective institutions, are considered equivalent to each other, and will generally be accepted for credit by SLCC.  Please note this is not a list of articulation agreements, as the matrix represents only course-to-course equivalencies.

This link allows a students to enter information on courses completed at previous colleges, including title and semester attempted.  The database will display the equivalent course code and course title at SLCC.

Transfer Equivalency Portal

The Transfer Equivalency Portal is subject to frequent revision, as we continually add new institutions and course equivalencies. Check back often and be sure to contact your academic advisor if you have any questions. 

South Louisiana Community College will accept transfer courses with an equivalent grade of 'C' or higher from any regionally accredited institution. Our equivalency guides list the institutions we receive transfer credit from on a reoccurring basis. If your institution is not listed but is regionally accredited, we may still accept transfer credit from it. For more information, please contact the Office of the Registrar at slcctranscripts@solacc.edu
