PHLEBOTOMY
Our short-term Phlebotomy Technician program lets you master real-world skills, in a fast-paced environment. You'll learn the basic principles of anatomy and physiology, diseases process, and gain the skills needed to collect blood specimens in a healthcare setting.

The Phlebotomy Technician program is a 10-week course (8 classroom + 2 weeks clinical).

REQUIREMENTS:
- 18+
- High School diploma, GED, or HiSET
JOB OPPORTUNITIES
Whether you want to work in a clinic, hospital, nursing home, medical lab, blood donation center, or insurance company, SLCC will prepare you for life as a phlebotomist after graduation. You’ll even receive real world training at one of our Oschner clinical sites throughout the Acadiana area.
