Industrial Trades Job Fair
SoLAcc's Economic & Workforce Development Department and LEDA's Skill Up Initiative have partnered to host this free hiring event in New Iberia.
Stop by the Heymann Convention Center on August 19, 2026 from 9am to 12pm to meet with hiring companies!
Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities upon giving at least three days prior notice by calling 337-521-6639.
Over 50 hiring companies will be attending, hiring for positions in the industrial trades, such as electricians, deckhands, forklift operators, carpenters, CDL drivers, machinists, more.
Bring copies of your resume and dress to impress for on-site interviews! Employers are looking to hire those ready to work who can present themselves professionally.
Attendance is free and open to the public! Preregistering for this event will save you time in checking in that morning.
Exhibiting companies include Turner Industries, Rigid Contractors, and McIlhenny Company. Over 500 jobs are looking to be filled at the event.
