Business Office Technology

The Business Office Technology (BOT) program is a technical degree program that prepares students for administrative assistant careers, such as executive assistant, office manager, and other administrative professional positions. Administrative assistants provide support, organization, and coordination in private companies and nonprofit, education, government and many other organizations.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The BOT program is comprised of 16 core courses for a program total of 45 credits. Students will learn written and oral communication skills, office management techniques, customer service strategies, and basic accounting principles and concepts.

In addition, students will learn how to create and edit documents using current word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software, and gain many hours of hands-on experience at the computer.

WHERE: This program is offered at our Morgan City Campus.
