SLCC offers a wide range of highly interactive courses that you can take entirely over the Internet. All of thecourses are led by expert instructors, many of whom are nationally known authors. The online courses are affordable, fun, fast, convenient, and geared just for you.

TEAS TEST prep (online)

These online courses are designed to help you prepare for the TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) Nursing Entrance Exam. The prep courses will review all the major topics covered on the TEAS examination:  Mathematics & Science, English & Reading, or all four topics.

Notary EXAM PREP

Are you interested in becoming a Louisiana Notary Public? In our Notary course, students will learn the skills necessary to pass the Louisiana Statewide Notary Exam. This course covers the unique system of law and courts in our state, as well as, basic notarial functions, such as drafting donations, acts of sale, contracts, conveyances of real property, testaments, small successions, and business entities. Students must purchase the Secretary of State’s book, “Fundamentals of Notarial Law and Practice,” through www.sos.la.gov. The cost of the study guide is $100.

• The prep course for the September exam is at full capacity. The next prep course will be set when the Secretary of State announces the 2025 schedule.
