PLUMBING


Our short-term Plumbing training lets you master real-world skills in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, where you'll learn how to repair and install hot water tanks, sinks, tubs, toilets and gas lines in less than 6 months.

Once you complete your training, you'll have all the knowledge needed to qualify for your NCCER Core & Plumbing certifications. Then, you're just steps away from beginning your career as a plumber. We'll even provide the tools!

PROGRAM OVERVIEW


The Plumbing program consists of 500 clock hours of training for the purpose of installing, maintaining, and repairing many different types of pipe systems.

WHERE: New Iberia campus

WHEN: July 29 - November 18, 2024 (night class).

COST: $6,000 tuition includes tools and book rental. (You may qualify for tuition assistance. Contact 337-521-9028 or workforce@solacc.edu for information.)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 16+ to take course
  • 17+ to take apprenticeship
  • No High School, GED or HiSET required*

*A high school or HiSET diploma is required for most financial aid grant applications.
