Lending Library

The Center for Minority Excellence is building a collection of educational and leisure reading resources by and about Africans, African Americans, and other members of the African Diaspora and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion topics. Our special collection will contain books from the various writers and artists who have contributed to the work of minority and underrepresented populations. A goal of the Center for Minority Excellence will be to start hosting a book club and invite authors of the books in the library to lend in discussion about the book. The library collection of books will have multiple copies at the various Center for Minority Excellence locations on the various SLCC campuses. Any student, faculty or staff member with a valid LoLA ID may borrow items from the library.
