INDUSTRIAL AGRICULTURAL MECHANIC

The Industrial Agricultural Mechanic program is a fast-track, certificate-based training program. Specialized classroom instruction and practical shop experience will prepare you for an entry-level position servicing agricultural equipment.

You will learn how to to select, safely use, and maintain hand and power tools, jacks, and hoisting equipment. You will also gain skills in safety, diagnosing malfunctions, repairing agricultural diesel engines, fuel, electrical systems, power trains, basic hydraulics, and preventive maintenance for agricultural and heavy equipment.

Agricultural Mechanics is a 6-month night course with 500 hours of hands-on and classroom training taught at our Abbeville campus.
