Located in the heart of the city, the campus offers a variety of general education courses that lead to an associate’s degree with transferable credits to any four-year school in Louisiana. The TRiO Educational Opportunity Center (EOC), a U.S. Department of Education initiative hosted by SLCC, is a program that offers free assistance to adults (19 and older) with a desire to earn a high school equivalency certification (HiSET), enroll in a college or university for the first time, or return to a college or university to complete what they started, all in an effort to earn a post-secondary education degree or certificate.
