The Student Accounts Office provides a variety of financial services to and for the college community. These services include accounting, billings, collection of student fees, receipts of revenues, grants, and financial reporting. We've created a series of quick videos that explain a few other initiatives in this office including the tuition and fee schedule, how to check for authorized aid you may qualify for, checking your account balance, making a payment, and finding out about refunds. Please view each one.
► Explanation of Tuition and Fees – This video will explain the tuition and fee schedule and how to estimate what your charges will be for the semester to better assist a student in preparing for a payment plan or determining if they should accept student loans.
► Checking Authorized Aid – This video will take a student through the steps of checking for authorized aid. This video is most beneficial to financial aid recipients to check if their aid is “authorized” and their courses are secure for the semester.
► Checking Account Balance – This video will take a student through the steps of checking their account balance. This video is most beneficial to students needing a statement of account to provide to a third party or someone else that is paying their tuition. Essentially, this is their bill.
► Payment Options – This video goes through the different payment options SLCC offers and it guides the student with the new CASHNet interface: Make a full payment, setup a payment plan, or setup an “authorized payer” which is maybe a parent that will be paying the tuition.
► How to Avoid Being Dropped for Non-Payment – This video will explain to students how to avoid being dropped for non-payment. How to secure their classes and make sure they are not dropped.
► Bank Mobile – This video goes into great detail about Bank Mobile: How to setup the account after scheduling, what refund options we offer, and who needs to setup an account.
► Book Vouchers – This video will go over the book voucher program: when vouchers are available and who qualifies for a voucher.
