Greetings!

 

You are invited to attend a Medical Assistant information session hosted by South Louisiana Community College. This session is free and open to anyone interested in starting a career in healthcare. The MA program prepares students for employment in private and large group physician’s offices, clinics, hospitals, medical records, laboratories, or insurance companies. The Medical Assistant program begins every August (training lasts 9 months), and students graduate in May. The Medical Assistant Program is financial aid-eligible. Graduates are eligible to sit for the National Certification exam for Medical Assistants.
