South Louisiana Community College will welcome new, returning, and transfer students to The Owl Connection on Wednesday, Aug. 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lafayette Campus.
The Owl Connection is designed to help students begin the semester with confidence by connecting them with the people, programs, and resources that support success from day one. Participants will receive an overview of campus technology and essential tools, explore student resources during a campus resource fair, meet with academic programs and support staff, take guided campus tours, and learn the top five things every student should know before the first day of class.
Faculty and staff will also be on hand throughout the event to welcome students, answer questions, and help create a smooth transition into the fall semester.
Students attending are encouraged to arrive by 8:30 a.m. to take full advantage of the day's activities.
