The Keeping Youth Trained and Educated program is accepting applications for its 2014 Spring session at South Louisiana Community College.
The KYTE program will accept applications through July 31. Applicants must be an out-of-school youth between the ages of 16-21. Participants get help to earn a High School Equivalency Diploma, career readiness training, and enrollment into a post-secondary institution/vocational training program.
The program hours are Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. It is tuition-free for all eligible applicants and is located at SLCC’s Ardoin Building, 1101 Bertrand Drive in Lafayette.

Potential applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. The KYTE program has 25 available slots and acceptance will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
