Basic Industrial Scaffolding

Our Basic Industrial Scaffolding program trains students on how to properly erect and dismantle scaffolding in as little as 3 weeks.

The 120-hour program covers instruction on OSHA Standard 1926.450 for Scaffolding and 1926.500 for Fall Protection.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Training includes instruction on personal responsibility, customer service, physical fitness, roles of a high-performing scaffolding team, safety, tool use, identifying different types of scaffolding, and numerous activities erecting and dismantling scaffolding.

WHEN/WHERE: 

  • New Iberia (day or night class) - Start date TBD
  • Opelousas (day class) - Start date TBD

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Age: 16+.
  • No High School, GED or HiSET required*

*A high school or HiSET diploma is required for most financial aid grant applications.
